1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between you ("you”, “your”, “Customer”) and Helproo ("Helproo", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your access to and use of Helproo’s services across all platforms.

These Terms apply when you:

  • Visit or access the Helproo website, including any regional or localized versions (e.g., www.helproo.com, www.helproo.au, www.helproo.com.au, www.helproo.com/au) ("Website"),
  • Download, install, or use the Helproo mobile application ("App").
  • Engage with services, providers, features, or content offered through the Helproo platform ("Platform").

Together with our Privacy Policy, these Terms set out the complete agreement governing your use of the Helproo Platform and Services.

By creating an account or using Helproo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, along with any applicable laws and regulations. Your use of the Platform establishes a trusted business relationship between you and Helproo, based on transparency, reliability, and care.

Scope of Services

Helproo provides a digital platform that connects users with verified service providers for a wide range of services ("Services"). New features, tools, or updates added to the Platform are also subject to these Terms.

Helproo facilitates connections, bookings, payments, and support services but does not directly perform the services.

Changes to These Terms

Helproo reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Platform and become effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Platform after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Helproo may also suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services at any time, without prior notice, if necessary for security, legal compliance, or operational reasons.

By clicking “Accept”, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You also acknowledge that your use of the Platform, including any data shared or stored, is governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. Account Terms

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

4. Activation Of Your Helproo Account, Limits, and Applicable Fees

Your Helproo Account is activated after successful verification.

Certain features or transactions may have limits based on your account status.

Any service fees, wallet deposits, or applicable charges will be transparently disclosed before you confirm a booking.

Changes to pricing or fees will be communicated in advance where applicable.

5. Wallet Funding and Payment Process

To confirm a booking, you must make the equivalent service fee available in your Helproo Wallet.

You will receive a notification once your assigned service provider begins traveling to your location.

You can track your provider’s live approach through the app.

After the service is completed, you will receive images of the work for inspection.

Once you confirm satisfaction, the service provider will receive the payment from your wallet.

6. Unlawful And Suspicious

You may not use Helproo for illegal, fraudulent, or unethical purposes.

Suspicious activities may result in immediate suspension, investigation, or notification to authorities.

In case of any transaction errors or disputes, please contact us immediately.

Helproo reserves the right to place holds or liens on accounts with unresolved issues or outstanding balances.

7. Third Party Services

Helproo may integrate third-party services, including payment processors.

By using such services, you also agree to their respective terms and conditions.

Helproo is not responsible for any failure, delay, or dispute arising from third-party service providers.

8. Acceptable Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use Helproo for unlawful, misleading, or harmful activities.
  • Harass, exploit, or abuse other users.
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
  • Disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Helproo platform or its features.

Violations may result in suspension, termination, or legal action.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, designs, and technology on Helproo are owned by Helproo or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute Helproo’s content without prior written consent.

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you submit may be used freely by Helproo without obligation or compensation.

10. Force Majeure

Helproo is not liable for delays or interruptions caused by events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions or changes in regulations
  • Cyberattacks or technical failures
  • Platform or network outages

In such cases, Helproo will make reasonable efforts to restore access and services promptly.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

Helproo strives to create a safe and seamless environment for all users.

While we carefully verify service providers and support the platform with robust tools, the services themselves are delivered by independent providers.

  • Helproo provides access to services “as is” and “as available.”
  • We do not guarantee that every service will be free from errors, delays, or interruptions.
  • However, in the event of any concern or issue, Helproo is committed to working closely with you and the provider to resolve it.
  • Where applicable, Helproo will assist in liaising with the provider’s insurer to help support fair and appropriate resolutions based on the provider’s insurance coverage.

Your trust matters, and we are here to assist you throughout your Helproo experience.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Helproo from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Your misuse of the Platform.
  • Disputes with service providers or other users, except where caused by Helproo’s direct actions.

13. Limitation Of Liability

  • Helproo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages outside of its reasonable control.
  • Our maximum liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid for services through the Platform in the three months prior to the claim.

We aim to maintain fairness, transparency, and accountability in all user relationships.

14. Closing, Restriction & Cancellation Of Your Helproo Account

You may close your Helproo account at any time through your account settings.

Helproo reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms.
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected.
  • Compliance with applicable law or regulatory requirement demands it.

Any eligible refunds for wallet balances or deposits will be handled according to our Refund Policy.

15. General Provisions

Changes to Terms: These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of Helproo means you accept the updated Terms.

Severability: If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain enforceable.

Assignment: You may not transfer your rights or obligations without Helproo’s prior written consent.

16. Applicable law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the country, state, or region corresponding to your location at the time of using the Helproo Platform, as indicated during your registration or service engagement.
  • Any disputes must first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction applicable to your location, through arbitration or in a competent court as determined by the relevant laws.
  • If you access Helproo from a region where we do not formally operate or recognize legal jurisdiction, you acknowledge that use is at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with any applicable local laws. .
